Offering to Yemaya

Hello everyone,
i was curious as to what would be a good simple offering to Yemaya. I do not have santo made and i would like to do something to show my gratitude towards her.

    HI...trad. offering per Lucumi..could be grapes at lake's/ocean's edge..in lake.......of course offering a small bit of it to Esu at corner first.

    But a very common one ..w/ a cute twist..is to offer her a watermelon..take /cut a small square out of watermelon (like u would a pumkin).....and write on brown/parchment paper your prayer/wish..put inside opening ..and pour some molasses into hole and cover up with rind of watermelon....place that at waters' edge. Of course give something to Esu at corner "first"..ie. candy...or toys...or owowo(the dried/toasted corn kernels) ...If u have 7 coins ..you can also place in water w/ watermelon..or even also put that in opening if u wish.
